These terms cover two things: your use of the ConvertMyCopy.com website, and the writing services I provide. The website and services are run by Sajid Ahamed, trading as ConvertMyCopy (“I”, “me”, “my”). “You” means the person or company using the site or hiring me. By using the site you accept the website terms. By hiring me you also accept the service terms, together with the written proposal, quote or agreement we sign (the “Agreement”). If the Agreement and these terms disagree, the Agreement wins.

Using the website

  • You may read the site and its articles for your own business use. Please do not copy, republish or resell the content without my written permission. Short quotations with a link back are fine.
  • Do not try to break, overload, scrape at scale or gain unauthorised access to the site, or submit false or abusive messages through the contact form.
  • The articles and guides are general information, not legal, medical, financial or professional advice. Check anything important with a qualified adviser for your situation.
  • I work to keep the information accurate and sourced, but I do not promise it is complete or current. Statistics come from third party sources linked in the articles and can change.
  • The site links to other websites. I do not control them and I am not responsible for them.

The services

I write marketing and sales content for dental marketing companies and agencies, such as educational email courses, email campaigns and sequences, and whitepapers. The exact scope, deliverables, number of revisions, timeline and price for each project are set out in the Agreement. Nothing is included unless the Agreement says so. Extra work outside that scope is quoted and agreed before I start it.

Fees and payment

Fees, deposits and payment dates are set out in the Agreement or invoice. Invoices are due by the date shown on them. I may pause work on an overdue invoice, and the delivery dates move with it. Unless the Agreement says otherwise, fees are in US dollars and exclude any taxes, bank charges or currency conversion costs that apply to you.

What I need from you

I can only write as well as the information I am given. You agree to give me accurate briefs, access, source material and feedback in good time, and to confirm that you have the right to give me anything you supply. Delays on your side move the delivery dates.

Revisions and approval

Each project includes the revision rounds stated in the Agreement. Feedback should be consolidated and sent in one round per revision. Work is treated as accepted once you approve it, publish it, or stop responding after the agreed review period.

Compliance is your responsibility

Dental and healthcare marketing is regulated, and the rules differ by country, state and professional body. I write to be accurate and careful, but I do not give legal or regulatory advice and I do not check copy against every rule that may apply to you or your clients. You are responsible for reviewing final copy for legal, regulatory and professional compliance before it is used, including any claims, testimonials and results it contains.

Ownership and credit

  • Your content. Once I have been paid in full, you own the final deliverables I wrote specifically for you and may use, edit and publish them under your own brand.
  • Ghostwriting. I do not claim credit on the work. I will not name you as a client, or describe your project, without your permission.
  • My methods. I keep ownership of my pre-existing templates, frameworks, processes and know-how, and of anything I create for general use. Using them in your project does not transfer them to you.
  • Your materials. You keep ownership of everything you provide to me.

Confidentiality

I will keep your non-public business information, client details and drafts confidential and use them only to do the work. This does not apply to information that is already public, that I already knew, or that I must disclose by law. These obligations continue after the work ends.

No guarantee of results

I can promise careful, well researched writing. I cannot promise a particular outcome. Open rates, replies, leads, rankings, bookings and revenue depend on many things outside my control, including your offer, list quality, deliverability, sending, targeting and timing. Benchmarks and examples on this site and in my work are illustrations, not guarantees.

Warranties and liability

  • The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, I disclaim all other warranties.
  • To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, reputation or business opportunity.
  • My total liability to you for any claim connected with the services is limited to the fees you paid me for the specific work that gave rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Ending the work

Either of us may end a project by written notice. You will pay for work completed and costs committed up to the date of ending, plus any non-refundable deposit stated in the Agreement. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, confidentiality and liability, continue after the work ends.

Disagreements

If something goes wrong, please tell me first. Most problems can be fixed quickly by a direct conversation, and I will try in good faith to resolve any dispute with you that way before either of us takes other steps.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes to the website terms apply from the date they are posted. Changes do not alter an Agreement already signed unless we both agree.
